Sir David Attenborough’s new film exposes the destruction of bottom trawling

The damage being inflicted on our seas by bottom-trawl fishing is laid bare in Sir David Attenborough’s new film OCEAN, out in cinemas this week. Bottom trawling decimates ocean wildlife and rips through the seabed, even inside the very areas that are meant to be protected. It’s an outrage.

But YOU can us help create a lasting legacy for UK waters by asking Steve Reed, the Environment Secretary of State, to BAN bottom trawling from our marine protected areas. It’s time to protect our ocean and save our planet.

Take action with us, Blue Marine Foundation and Only One to end the destruction of our ocean havens!

Sir David Attenborough has spent a lifetime exploring the planet, and he’s clear: “The most important place on Earth is not on land, but at sea.” So, let’s listen, and fight hard to save it.
